How will my games get determined?

For this listing, you would offer to purchase a certain number of games and tickets from the Season Ticket Holder. The actual games and tickets you would get would be determined at a later date using the the following method:

Online Draft
New partner will participate in Online Draft. Draft will be held at a time and date agreeable to the majority of partners. Draft picks will be based on the number of games each partner is purchasing. Draft Order will be set fairly giving all partners a pick in the first round and the remaining picks will be fairly determined based on the proportion of games owned by each partner. The Draft Order shall NOT unfairly benefit or harm any partner(s). All games and tickets shall be included in the draft.

I am interested in partnering with you on the Mariners tickets you have for sale for the remainder of the season. Can you tell me which games are available and how much you are asking? Thank you.
  • I am sorry to say that that all games are taken. I apologize and will take down the ticket group. This year, the ticket charge was $47/seat, everyone pays the same. I know for a fact that at least 10 games, if not more, will be available for next year. Please keep me in mind. Thanks

When do you plan to do the draft? I'm interested in 15 games/tix if it's a fair draft. Thanks.
  • Brian, I assume you are talking for next year. I will check with my ticket group and get back to you. Pricing is as follows: I divide the total amount by the number of tickets, and then I round up to the nearest dollar. Games are split fairly based on predicted "quality" of the teams, weekends vs weekdays, day vs night, and time of year. We can easily accommodate planned out of town times and a few specific requests (ie, I want a Boston game on certain date. You would get a chance to review your scheduled games before schedule is finalized. When I had one person taking 30-40 games per season, a draft was easier. Now it seems folks prefer between 5-12 games per year. No one has been unsatified with the current process. Let me know if this sounds like an ok approach and I will start asking my other partners about next year.

Which 15 games are available? If they fit our schedule, we would take them all.
  • No games are chosen or assigned currently. We split the tickets fairly across the "desirability" scale and based on everyone's schedule and who they want to see. No one has ever been unhappy, no one has seniority or anything like that. Unless you have very "limiting" requests, such as only Sundays or you are gone a long period of time during the season, there should not be a problem. Most of out schedules are flexible. Happy to talk further. There is one person ahead of you, I should know from them tomorrow. Let me know.

So is your new partner only get 15 of the 81 games? It is not even 25%. How will tickets be divided with the 4 partners?
  • Traditionally, one person took half the games and I split the other half w 2 other people. Because of medical illness, this person takes 15 less games now. We split the tickets fairly across the "desirability" scale andbased on everyone's schedule and who they want to see. No one has ever been unhappy, no one has seniority or anything like that. Personally, I hate the rich teams like the Yankees and the Red Sox, so I won't fight you for them! Happy to talk on the phone if you like. Let me know.

you have my offer but there is nowhere to confirm the exact games in the offer. i believe you confirmed 6 games Sat April 12, Wed April 23, Wed May 14, Tues June 17, Sun June 29, Wed Aug 6. For a 7th game are any of the following available; Wed July 23, or Sun July 27, or Aug 29 or 30. Thanks for confirming
  • Jack, You can have the Mets on July 23. You are getting more high visibility or higher "end" teams than you would normally for a total of 7 games, but I lost a partner late winter and am happy to be selling them to you this way for this year. Hopefully, you can become a regular member of the group. So the final purchase will be for April 12 against Oakland, April 23 against Houston, May 14 against Tampa Bay, June 17 against San Diego, June 29 against Cleveland, July 23 against the Mets August 6 against Atlanta. Thanks,
